We've developed this "Island" for the large traditonal kitchen. It takes a marble or other stone ( or wood ) top of approx 2 cm thickness, which may be fitted within the edge-frame ( see photo ). The piece in the picture has 6 drawers, 2 large and 4 small, 16 cm ( approx. 6 1/4" ) high and was built in pine. The dimensions ( in cm ) are 205 x 100, by 90 high. Of course we can do the same piece in cherry or oak, in any colour and finish you have in mind. You may also specify your own measurements....
